Safety comes first for the people we support and for our own workers. Here is how we build it in.
Two people on every visit
A support worker is present on every block and is responsible for safety and quality from start to finish.
Checks and training
- Every worker completes an NDIS Worker Screening Check and the NDIS Worker Orientation Module before working with a participant.
- Team members hold a Working With Children Check where the work requires it.
- Everyone on a team trains together before they start, and the first visits are shadowed.
Code of conduct
Everyone who works with NeoNow follows the NDIS Code of Conduct. This includes respecting your rights, privacy and choices, and reporting any concern.
Reporting a concern
If you are worried about anyone's safety or wellbeing, tell us straight away at hello@neonow.com.au, or use our feedback and complaints process. In an emergency, call 000.
Our workers are protected too
Safeguarding also protects the people we employ. If a worker is treated badly in a home, they can tell their support worker or us, and we will act.
